The book of I Thessalonians is written to a church that the Apostle Paul spent only a few short weeks with on his second missionary journey.  He came and left in the midst of great turmoil and longed to see them flourish in Christ as an infant church-plant.  In this short letter, there are no rebukes or corrections - only praise and encouragement to keep going.  The most notable passage in this book is found in chapter 4 where the Apostle gives one of the clearest and most inspiring passages about the second coming of Jesus.  Come and join us each Sunday morning for a study of this wonderful epistle.

Come join us the next few weeks at 10:30 AM at Murphy Jr. High to find hope in Jesus.
