If you want to know the heart of God - know who God really is, you have to know Jesus. The first record ever written of Jesus’ life is the Gospel according to John Mark. Though Mark did not witness these events first hand, he got an eye witness account from the Apostle Peter. The Gospel of Mark is uniquely written to a first century audience of non-Jewish readers, and It is an action packed account of the life of Jesus that invites the reader to "watch the life of Jesus in action" in contrast to Matthew, Luke, & John’s accounts that invite you to listen to the life of Jesus. For the next few months we will be going verse by verse through this book on Sunday mornings at The Source. The book breaks down into “mini-series” within the 16 chapters - the first one is called, “Foundations of the Gospel”.
