What A Sunday Morning Looks Like
As soon as you come through the front doors of Plymouth Congregational Church, you will be greeted by someone who is glad you are there. We are a casual “come as you are” congregation who you don’t need to dress up for. From there you will be shown our kids and worship space just down the hall with signs to direct you as well. You can also pick up our weekly bulletin and find more information about Source Church. If you have young children you can fill out an information card so they can be in preschool care during service and have someone show you where our preschool, elementary, and Jr. High classes meet for when the children are dismissed.
Our worship starts at 9:00 AM with a time of worship through song that everyone participates in. We love to have little ones with us while we sing so that they can be a part of celebrating Jesus through song with us. After the singing we take a short break to refuel on coffee and children are released to Sunday School classes and parents can drop off their preschoolers and toddlers. We have Sunday School classes for toddlers through Jr. High age children. The Jr. High class meets every other week.
Prayer and Communion
After the break there is a time when we listen to a message from our pastor and then we have a time of communion and prayer. We take time to return to the Lords table every week to constantly be reminded of the finished work of Jesus on our behalf. This is a “believer’s table” - if you are not a Christian we ask that you not participate. The elementary and Jr. High classes rejoin their parents at this time for a time of worship, with a few more songs and a time of corporate prayer. Parents pick up their preschoolers and toddlers at the end of service.
