Jesus is the Head of Our Church

Here is the Rest of Our Team:

ROBERT LIVINGSTON - Lead Pastor / Elder

Robert has been married to Monica for 18 years, and they have four beautiful daughters and one son. Three of their children were born in Ghana West Africa to other parents before being adopted by the Livingston family.  After serving 7 years as the Lead Pastor of Legacy Bible church in north Texas, he and his family moved to Illinois in the fall of 2008. As the lead pastor of the Source Church, he serves as the primary teaching pastor and as visionary leader. While many verses have been instrumental in his 28 years of following Christ, one passage stands out the most from II Corinthians 12:9-12:

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

VICTOR THOMPSON - Elder

Victor and Jaye have been married for over 27 years and have been blessed with three beautiful girls - Naomi, Natalie and Nicole - who also love the Lord.  The family moved to Oswego in late 2010 and was quickly led to the Source Church where the undiluted truth of God's love is taught.  Victor leads a life group and is deacon over the church's facilities.  Growing up in Jamaica before moving to suburban America, Victor understands how blessings can become idols.  He is constantly encouraged by Joshua's stance:

"Fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and faithfulness.  Put away the gods that your fathers served....  And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, chose this day whom you will serve...  But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." - Joshua 24:14-15

JOHN KRATSCHMER - Deacon of Finance

John has been with the Source Church since graduating from Illinois State University in 2011. Since arriving, he has served in roles on the facilities team as well as the worship team before joining the finance team in 2013. John understands the seasons of strong faith and seasons of weak faith we experience. He finds hope in the simple request of a father in Mark 9:24: “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!
